Notice of Annual General Meeting 23rd May

All committee roles will be declared vacant at the meeting. If you wish to nominate for any role prior to the AGM, nominations will be accepted up until the 16 May. If nominations have not fulfilled the roles adequately, nominations will be accepted from the floor at the AGM. A list of the roles is provided in the agenda. We will also accept nominations for role sharing in general committee roles if that suits peoples circumstances. Example: We would be open to two people sharing a role like Canteen Officer or Equipment and Grounds Officer.

2017-2018 Volunteer Roster

Each family will be required to volunteer at least once during the season. Please click HERE to nominate a date (or multiple dates) you can volunteer – get in fast so you don’t miss out! This is vital for our growing club to ensure the nights are run as efficiently and smoothly as possible. All roles are very easy – they range from general event assistance, helping in the canteen, to cooking the bbq, and setting up/packing up the field. You will be guided on the night. If you require more information please don’t hesitate to enquire.

Our 2017-2018 season is underway!


Athletics Starts at 5:45  - Don’t be late.

Athletics will be commencing on Monday 9th October, 2017.

Kotara South Amateur Athletic Club began in 1965. We are an athletics centre open to both junior and senior participation, having over 300 athletes ranging from under 6’s through to Masters.

We are located at Nesbitt Park, Grayson Avenue, Kotara South.

Our season commences in early October and finishes mid-March. Athletes must be born on or before the 30th September 2012 to register with us. There is no upper age limit and our athletes have ranged in ability from beginners to Australian representatives.

Our track is considered to be one of the best grass tracks in the Hunter Lake Macquarie Area.

Our primary aim is to bring together athletes and their families in a range of outdoor physical activities with family involvement. At least 1 parent per family is required to actively assist each week.

Emphasis is on ‘Run For Fun’ and improvement of an athletes’’ own performances. The club provides a variety of events and also the opportunity to compete in Athletics NSW, Athletics Australia and Little Athletics competitions.
